FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE TREATMENT OF VARICOSE VEINS & HEMMORHOIDS

Varicose veins and hemorrhoids are secondary conditions created by imbalances in the body that lead to impaired venous return and poor integrity of the blood vessel walls.  A whole body approach is required to address underlying insufficiencies that contribute to these disorders.

Poor gut health, bacterial overgrowth, poor digestion, impaired detoxification, nutrient imbalances and dietary and lifestyle factors all play a part in the development of varicose veins, hemorrhoids and associated disorders.  Early intervention improves the rate that these conditions can be reversed.

At our Perth clinic of Advanced Functional Medicine we treat patients that suffer from hemorrhoids and varicose veins.

If you of a family member are suffering from one of these conditions we would love to hear from you.  Have you investigated your gut health and found that once rebalanced that your hemorrhoids or varicose veins disappeared of improved dramatically?  What treatments have worked best for you so far?  Please leave a message below.

Spider veins are enlarged veins that are no longer preventing blood from flowing in reverse. They can be different colors under the skin like blue, purple, or a pinkish red. Sometimes they are not chronic but related to pregnancy in women when spider veins form in the birthing region.

I love your tips, thanks for sharing.
