Julie Farrelly - NP
Integrative Nurse Practitioner and Functional Medicine Practitioner

I'm Julie Farrelly, a passionate Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. I believe in empowering my clients to take control of their health and uncover the root causes of their chronic conditions. With over 40 years of experience in healthcare, I have seen firsthand the limitations of conventional medicine and the transformative potential of Functional Medicine.

My Health Story

Like many of my clients, I have faced my own health challenges. It was the heartbreaking experience of watching my mother and grandmother succumb to the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease that sparked my interest in exploring alternative approaches to healthcare. I realised that conventional medicine often focused on managing symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes of disease. This realisation ignited my desire to find a more comprehensive and holistic approach to health and well-being.

Journey to Functional Medicine

My journey led me to delve into further studies, including nutritional and environmental medicine. While these fields provided valuable insights, I still felt that there was something missing. It was when I discovered Functional Medicine that everything fell into place. Functional Medicine resonated with me because it views the body as an interconnected system, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than merely treating symptoms.

I am committed to continual learning and stay up to date with the latest advancements in integrative and functional medicine through conferences, seminars, online courses, and webinars. This dedication ensures that I can provide the most comprehensive and effective care to my clients, guiding them on their journey towards optimal health.
